Appmiral and South African G&G Productions are teaming up for a long-term partnership raising the digital experience bar for their 3 Rage festivals hosted in South Africa.
Raising the bar on visitor experience
The South African festival scene is known both for its wide variety of musical genres that are being melted into a single experience as well as the unique locations these events are being hosted.
According to marketingspread.co.za the secret behind the impressive growth and rising popularity are technology and quality.
South Africans generally love the outdoors and music so both these qualities have definitely contributed to the growth, but the biggest reason is quality. On top of that, promoters deal with a young, tech-savvy crowd that are used of buying most of the stuff in their live over a mobile phone.
More than ever before, the G&G and Rage teams are aware that extending the experience of their festivals towards towards a digital dimension is the way forward. Besides improving the visitor experience, they also now have a great proposition for sponsors and partners to be embedded in the overall experience and engage with the fans.
The biggest event of the Rage family will step up its game this year by embedding Augmented Reality into their applications.
